A top international law firm are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel (6+ PQE) to join their in‑house legal team on a 9 to 12 month fixed‑term contract.

The role involves supporting the wider In‑House Counsel and Corporate Governance function, with a particular focus on the firm’s corporate administration services business. It is advisory in nature and will involve close engagement with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Advising senior management on corporate, governance, regulatory and operational matters
  • Supporting both business‑as‑usual work and specific projects
  • Advising on group structure and intragroup legal arrangements
  • Drafting, reviewing and maintaining key corporate and operational documentation
  • Supporting client onboarding and service agreements where required
  • Assisting with board and committee governance processes
  • Reviewing third‑party supplier contracts from a legal and commercial risk perspective
  • Advising on data protection matters in collaboration with specialist colleagues
  • Supporting regulatory frameworks and internal governance processes
  • Contributing to process improvements and more efficient ways of working within the legal team

About you:

  • Minimum 6 years’ PQE
  • Prior in‑house experience, ideally within professional services, financial services or a fiduciary environment
  • Experience working in a cross‑jurisdictional organisation
  • Exposure to AML frameworks, regulatory environments or data protection would be beneficial but is not essential.
