This opportunity is on a 12-month FTC basis. A prestigious international law firm is seeking a qualified lawyer to support its Partnership Affairs function, working closely with senior leadership on matters related to governance, partner arrangements, and legal structures. The role is an in-house position which involves advising on business structures, partner onboarding and exits, profit-sharing adjustments, and regulatory compliance. Additionally, the position serves as a liaison between the legal department, general counsel, senior management, and other internal teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination across governance-related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert legal advice on the firm's partner arrangements and constitutional governance documents.
  • Assist with structural amendments, risk management, and compliance-related matters.
  • Support legal affairs management, including briefing senior leaders on operational and legal risks.
  • Facilitate collaboration between the legal department, partnership accounting, and company secretarial teams.
  • Act as a key contact for partner queries on business structure, contracts, and regulations.
  • Oversee professional indemnity insurance renewal processes and liaise with brokers and insurers.
