An international law firm based in London is looking for a commercial lawyer within their in‑house legal team on a 12-month FTC. The role involves advising on complex commercial and regulatory matters, managing legal risk and contributing to compliance and risk management strategies.
- Legal Advice: Provide guidance on commercial contracts, policy writing, regulatory issues and strategic matters.
- Compliance: Support compliance frameworks, handle regulatory obligations, assist with data protection (including GDPR), DPIA reviews, DSAR's and respond to regulatory inquiries.
- Risk Management: Develop and implement risk policies, advise on liability and risk exposure.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including HR and senior leadership, on legal and compliance matters.
Training familiarity with other jurisdictions is a plus. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects and maintain discretion.
