Corporate Legal Counsel | (2–4 PQE) | Global Investment Platform | London/Hybrid

I’m working with a fast-growing, international alternative investment group (c. €10bn+ AUM) looking to hire a junior corporate lawyer (2+ PQE) into their London legal team. This is a standout opportunity for a strong corporate M&A associate who wants to move in-house into a broad, commercially focused role with genuine international exposure.

About the Role

You’ll report directly to a highly regarded General Counsel and work across a lean, high-performing legal team, supporting the business globally.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting on M&A / investment transactions
  • Shareholder agreements
  • JV agreements
  • Commercial / asset management contracts
  • Advising the business on corporate governance and structuring
  • Supporting on new products, fund activity and strategic projects
  • Acting as a key legal partner to stakeholders across Europe & the US

This is not a pure transactional role: you’ll gain exposure across advisory, commercial and operational legal work.

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Strong background in corporate M&A (ideally from a leading firm)
  • Commercial, proactive mindset
  • Interested in moving into a broad, business-facing in-house role

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to private equity, funds, or real assets is beneficial but not essential.
