A newly independent international consumer business is looking to appoint a Global Marketing Counsel as part of its expanding legal function. The organisation has been formed following the separation of a major global FMCG group’s Family Care business, encompassing a portfolio of well-established consumer brands alongside extensive professional product lines used across commercial and healthcare settings globally. As the business establishes itself as a standalone entity within a new ownership structure, it is redefining how its marketing and innovation functions operate internationally - creating a unique opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer to play a central role.
The Role
- You will partner closely with marketing and innovation teams, supporting global campaigns and product launches that are often developed centrally and implemented across multiple jurisdictions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising on advertising, marketing, and claims strategy
- Supporting product innovation from concept through to launch
- Identifying and managing jurisdictional risks across global campaigns
- Working proactively with stakeholders to shape strategy and enable execution
- Managing advertising disputes and regulatory engagement
