We are seeking an experienced Technology Lawyer to join a fast-growing consultancy at the intersection of data, technology, and private equity. This is a strategic role, working closely with engineering teams and senior stakeholders to shape product development, manage IP rights, and navigate emerging areas such as AI governance.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure compliance, IP protection, and ownership of tech assets.
- Advise on product development and licensing, balancing client needs with internal reuse strategies.
- Lead on IP strategy, including drafting narratives around tech ownership and safeguarding proprietary rights.
- Support AI governance initiatives, including risk management and participation in governance committees.
- Manage and mentor contract support lawyers, including offshore teams.
- Drive legal processes that enable scalability and innovation.
About You
- 5 - 10 PQE qualified lawyer with strong experience in technology law.
- Background in private practice and/or in-house roles.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strong analytical and communication skills; able to build trusted relationships across teams.
- Interest or experience in AI governance and emerging tech issues.
