A leading global financial services firm is looking for a 5+ PQE employment lawyer to join their legal team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing expert legal advice on employment law matters.
- Key focus on non-contentious and contentious employment law related matters across EMEA, including recruitment, performance management, terminations, restrictive covenants, immigration, etc.
- Supporting with contractual matters.
- Work closely with People Operations teams to develop and improve employment processes and procedures.
- Opportunities to serve as a legal advisor on a wide variety of business initiatives and transactions across the region both inside and outside the employment law area, with a strong focus on London/EMEA.
- Working in multidisciplinary teams across various departments.
- Managing and liaising with external counsel when required.
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will be a 4+ PQE employment lawyer, preferably with experience in a law firm or in-house.
- Prior experience advising on non-contentious and contentious matters would be advantageous for the role.
- Financial services experience is not a prerequisite; all backgrounds welcome.
- Collaborative, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
*Candidates outside of this PQE range with the prerequisite experience would be considered for this role.
