A leading law firm known for their sector‑focussed approach in media & entertainment is seeking an associate to join its Venture Capital team, part of a market‑leading corporate group. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a broad range of corporate and corporate‑finance transactions, advising emerging companies and investors across the investment lifecycle.
About the Role
- Advise on mergers and acquisitions, investment transactions, joint ventures, and early‑stage financings (including SEIS/EIS and angel investments) through to later‑stage investments.
- Take on significant responsibility for smaller transactions and collaborate with senior team members on larger deals.
- Contribute to business development and growth initiatives within the group.
Ideal Candidate
- 1–4 years’ PQE with strong academics and solid training.
- Hands‑on experience in transactional corporate and venture capital work.
- Commercially minded, pragmatic, and entrepreneurial, with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Keen to learn and develop, with a proactive approach to responsibility and growth.
