Our client, a leading international City law firm is seeking an Employment Associate to join its established and highly regarded London employment practice on a 6‑month fixed term contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an employment lawyer who enjoys complex, strategic work and wants to be part of a highly successful team.

The Role:

  • Employment aspects of M&A, restructurings and business transfers
  • Sensitive internal investigations, often with regulatory or reputational risk
  • Employment tribunal litigation, including whistleblowing and discrimination claims
  • Strategic advisory work for senior stakeholders and in‑house teams
  • Cross‑border employment matters, working closely with international colleagues

Team:

You will join a collaborative internationally focused employment team that is known for its commercial approach and ability to handle high‑stakes matters for major corporates and financial institutions.

About You:

  • You are a qualified solicitor in a common‑law jurisdiction with upwards of 3+ PQE
  • Comfortable handling contentious and advisory matters
  • Commercially minded, pragmatic and confident dealing with senior clients
  • Interested in working on complex, often sensitive issues rather than day‑to‑day HR queries
  • Keen to develop within a genuinely international platform
