The client A leading financial services firm dedicated to providing innovative financial solutions is looking for a 4PQE+ Markets Lawyer to join their team of front office, trading floor lawyers. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in advising the sales and trading teams, managing derivatives transactions and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Providing full range legal support for the business with equity derivatives transactions, Supporting the team with product engineering, design and associated legal issues. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating derivatives documentation Collaborating with internal teams, including trading, risk management, compliance, and operations, to ensure smooth execution of derivatives transactions. Managing external legal counsel as needed and coordinating with counterparties’ legal teams. Advising on regulatory matters related to derivatives, including EMIR, MiFID II, and other relevant regulations. Keeping abreast of legal and regulatory developments in the derivatives market and providing updates and training to internal stakeholders. Qualifications: Qualified lawyer with 4+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in derivatives law, preferably within a financial services firm or top-tier law firm.
