A global, leading speciality insurer is looking to recruit a UK insurance and data privacy legal counsel into their legal department in London. The successful candidate will be advising on a broad range of legal and regulatory topics within insurance and financial services, as well as advising the Data Protection Officer.
Skills and experience required:
- Qualified solicitor (England and Wales) with a strong background in insurance law and regulatory compliance.
- Post qualification legal experience ideally in a non-life insurance company, broker or a law firm insurance practice.
- Proven track record of providing legal support in the insurance sector.
- Deep insurance contract and regulatory legal knowledge and knowledge of consumer lines insurance is desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of UK and EU data protection laws, including GDPR and the UK Data Protection Act.
Hybrid working policy: 3 days per week in London office.
Salary: £125,000++ per annum plus bonus and benefits. Unfortunately, no sponsorship is being offered at this time.
