Job Description
Working directly with a recognized Partner who is looking to further bolster the team with a Junior Associate, to support the increasing volume of high-quality Venture Capital deals.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a VC specialist role within a busy and well-integrated corporate group, while also gaining exposure on private M&A and private equity deals. You’ll be joining a lean, high-performing team advising on investor and company-side venture capital transactions, with a strong focus on the technology and life sciences sectors. The work is fast-paced, international, and often involves transatlantic deals with US and European clients.
You’ll work directly with partners on transactions and play a key role as one of the first dedicated VC specialists at the firm, while also benefiting from the close collaboration and support of the wider corporate group. Joining the team at an exciting growth stage, this role offers strong client exposure, progression, and competitive compensation.
Requirements:
- Investor and company-side venture capital exposure, with private M&A experience also being preferred but not required
- Qualified between 2022-2023 (2-3PQE) in England & Wales, or another common law jurisdiction
- International and cross-border experience strongly preferred
- Strong academics
