Corporate Technology Associate – London – Elite US City Law Firm

Our client, an elite US City law firm is seeking a talented Corporate Technology Transactions Associate to join the firm’s growing London-based Technology Transactions team. Sitting within the broader Corporate practice, this team is a strategic focus for the firm and plays a critical role in advising clients at the intersection of M&A, private equity, venture capital, and technology.

You will work closely with high-profile partners and a collegiate team of experts, advising on a wide range of matters including:

  • Corporate support on M&A, private equity, and venture/growth investments
  • Commercial contracts involving IP, IT, and data privacy
  • Technology transactions including licensing, SaaS, and platform agreements
  • IP/IT advisory work, including due diligence and risk assessment
  • Data protection and privacy compliance and strategy
  • Supporting clients across technology-driven sectors, from fintech and healthtech to AI and digital infrastructure

The successful individual:

  • Must be England & Wales qualified with ideally 3–4 years’ post-qualification experience at a leading City or international law firm
  • Strong grounding in corporate support and commercial IT matters
  • Experience advising on standalone commercial contracts and technology transactions (or a desire to build this skill set)
  • A commercial mindset, excellent drafting skills, and a collaborative approach
  • A genuine interest in technology and innovation
