A leading international law firm is seeking a junior Corporate M&A Associate to join its highly regarded London team. The practice advises on complex, high‑value cross‑border transactions and is recognised as one of the strongest M&A teams in the UK market.
The Role
You will work on a broad range of public and private M&A matters, including high‑profile and cross‑border transactions. The team acts for a diverse client base, including listed companies, multinational corporates and financial sponsors across sectors such as technology, consumer, finance, fintech, pharma, natural resources, media, and industrials. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, high‑performing team known for its exceptional quality of work, supportive culture, and strong track record of internal development and progression.
Responsibilities
- Supporting on all stages of UK and cross‑border M&A transactions
- Drafting key corporate documents and assisting with structuring matters
- Managing due‑diligence processes and legal research
- Working closely with senior lawyers on complex deal execution
- Interacting with clients and contributing to matter management
Qualifications
- 1–2 years’ post‑qualification experience in corporate/M&A at a reputable law firm
- Strong exposure to complex or cross‑border corporate transactions
- Excellent academics and solid technical grounding in corporate law
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- A commercial mindset, attention to detail, and a proactive approach
- A genuine interest in developing expertise in public and private M&A
Candidates with slightly more or less PQE will be considered where experience is relevant.
