Our client, affiliated with a top global investment firm, is seeking a Legal Counsel with a strong corporate M&A background to join their rapidly growing legal team. This role is a newly created role and will support their real estate and European portfolio companies, focusing on transactions, particularly disposals. The successful candidate will handle various legal matters arising daily and support global legal projects aimed at driving quality, innovation, and consistency.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer with a minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience and M&A experience within the real estate sector or other relevant sectors. Strong corporate M&A lawyers without real estate experience will also be considered. Candidates should have experience managing project teams, coordinating advisors, and working both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset are essential.
