This is a 6-month FTC to start as soon as possible. Our client can accommodate a notice period of 1 month for the right candidate.
We are seeking a competition lawyer with broad experience, possibly specialized in merger control, antitrust enforcement, compliance, and FDI filings. The ideal candidate works well independently and within high-performance, multidisciplinary teams. They should be a solutions-focused, strategic thinker with commercial awareness, strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
Experience providing pragmatic, business-friendly legal advice and expertise in competition law matters is essential. As the sole competition counsel within a larger legal team, responsibilities include handling various competition law issues such as investigations, antitrust/monopoly investigations, merger control for major M&A, advising stakeholders on filings and compliance, and preparing templates to ensure procedural adherence and positive outcomes.
