Taylor Root is working with a highly regarded, private equity backed business in the consumer healthcare space. They’re looking to take on a legal consultant (c. 5+ PQE) who has solid experience across competition and commercial law.
A large proportion of the role will be focused more on commercial contracts work, data protection, ad hoc queries from the business, as well as generally supporting the day to day. However, there will be competition work that comes up from time to time, so this person needs to also be confident being the only person within the in-house legal team with that expertise.
You’ll be sitting within a very warm, approachable legal team and the role is one where you’re very client facing – you need to be able to be a people person, pragmatic, and concise. It would be a great role if someone’s started off as a competition lawyer and started to diversify their experience which they’re looking to build on, or somebody who’s gained the competition piece from being in an in-house team and finds it very interesting.
This is a 6-month Fixed Term Contract role where they need someone to start asap (ideally within 2-4 weeks).
