A Magic Circle law firm is seeking a talented and motivated associate to join its top-tier TMT practice. The role offers the opportunity to work on a broad spectrum of high-profile and cutting-edge matters across commercial technology transactions (such as telecoms and tech contracts) and regulatory advisory work.
The TMT team is among the largest in the city, representing some of the world’s most prominent companies. A significant portion of the team’s work involves addressing complex multi-jurisdictional issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements, such as outsourcing, software licensing, SaaS, and digital infrastructure contracts.
- Advising on regulatory matters, including data protection, cybersecurity, telecommunications regulation, and online safety compliance.
- Supporting innovative projects in areas such as artificial intelligence, digital health, and fintech.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary and global teams on contracts and crisis response matters.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience within a highly regarded commercial, technology, or data protection team.
- A strong commercial mindset with a proactive and entrepreneurial approach.
