Commercial Tech Senior Associate

I’m currently working with a leading international law firm that is seeking a talented Commercial Tech & Media Associate or Senior Associate to join their growing team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a lawyer with at least four years of post-qualification experience to step into a role that offers high-quality work, a collaborative environment, and genuine career progression.

The team advises on a wide range of commercial matters across the technology and media sectors, including complex IP licensing, technology transfer, IT outsourcing, and data protection compliance. Clients include major corporates, research institutions, and innovative start-ups operating at the forefront of emerging technologies such as AI, fintech, and digital health. The work is varied and intellectually stimulating, with opportunities to specialise in areas like life sciences, media, or data privacy, depending on your interests.

The ideal candidate will have a strong grounding in commercial law, with experience advising on IP, IT, and data protection matters. You’ll be confident working directly with clients, have excellent drafting skills, and be comfortable managing your own matters as well as supporting on larger transactions. While the firm is looking for someone with around four or more years of experience, they are open to considering candidates with slightly less or more, depending on the fit.
