A leading global business within the food ingredients sector is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its EMEA legal team. Operating across international markets and complex supply chains, the organisation partners with major manufacturers, consumer brands and retailers, delivering sustainable and innovative ingredient solutions to customers worldwide.

Working closely with senior business leaders and cross-functional teams, you will provide practical, risk-based legal advice across a wide range of commercial and corporate matters. The role offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to support key business initiatives across the EMEA region.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements with customers, suppliers and strategic partners.
- Providing commercially focused legal advice on day-to-day business operations and strategic initiatives.
- Supporting the business on sustainability-related projects, including partnerships with external organisations and advising on evolving ESG and regulatory requirements.
- Advising on marketing and external communications, particularly in relation to sustainability and environmental claims.
- Supporting corporate transactions and projects, including acquisitions, investments, joint ventures and business restructurings.
- Partnering with compliance and business teams to identify legal and regulatory risks and implement appropriate frameworks and training.
- Assisting with disputes, litigation management and engagement with external counsel where required.
Qualified lawyer (UK Qualified or common law qualified) with 6+ years' PQE. Strong experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements. Proven ability to provide pragmatic, business-focused legal advice. Experience supporting corporate transactions, strategic projects or cross-border matters would be advantageous but not essential. An interest in sustainability, regulatory developments and international business operations is highly desirable. Friendly, warm and relationships focused with the ability to come up with pragmatic and commercial legal solutions to complex challenges.
