Currently working on an opportunity for a Senior Conflicts Analyst to join a leading international law firm. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced conflicts professional looking to gain exposure to complex, cross-border matters and work closely with both UK and US stakeholders.
This role sits within the firm's New Business Intake team and focuses on the identification, analysis and resolution of conflicts of interest and related regulatory issues. A key aspect of the position is acting as a liaison between UK partners and the US Conflicts team, with matters often being assessed under both ABA and SRA rules.
Key Responsibilities
- Analysing conflict search results and advising on potential resolutions.
- Reviewing and drafting conflict waivers, consents and engagement terms.
- Advising on ethical walls and information barriers.
- Supporting the resolution of complex conflicts and business acceptance issues.
- Reviewing work produced by junior analysts and assisting with team training.
- Contributing to process improvements and systems development initiatives.
About You
- Previous law firm conflicts experience is essential.
- Experience working with or exposure to ABA conflicts rules is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of conflicts, business acceptance and risk management processes.
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using Intapp would be advantageous.
