I am exclusively retained by a highly successful investment platform to appoint a Legal Counsel to join its London-based legal team.

Working closely with the General Counsel and senior business stakeholders, this is an opportunity to move into a genuinely broad private equity role with exposure across funds, investments, governance and strategic business matters.

The successful candidate will operate at the centre of a dynamic, deal-driven environment, partnering regularly with investment professionals and senior management on a wide range of legal and commercial issues.

The role will suit a lawyer coming from a leading private funds or sponsor-side private equity practice who is looking to make the move in-house without sacrificing the quality or complexity of work.

You will advise on fund and investor-related matters, support investment activity throughout the deal lifecycle, contribute to governance and structuring projects, and work alongside external counsel on domestic and cross-border matters.

The position offers significant responsibility, visibility and the opportunity to become a trusted adviser to a sophisticated investment business.

Applications are welcomed from lawyers trained at leading UK or US firms who have developed strong private equity experience, whether through a private funds, fund formation or sponsor-side corporate/M&A practice.

In addition to strong technical skills, candidates should be commercially minded, pragmatic and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

This is a rare opportunity to join a high-performing investment platform in a role offering excellent long-term development, close interaction with senior stakeholders and exposure to all aspects of the private equity ecosystem.
