A leading FTSE 100 business is seeking an IP & Technology Legal Counsel to join its highly regarded legal team in a newly created role. This is an exceptional opportunity for a lawyer who enjoys working at the intersection of intellectual property, technology, AI and legal innovation. The successful candidate will play a key role in protecting and developing a global brand portfolio whilst supporting major technology and digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

  • Advising on trademarks, brand protection and wider IP matters
  • Supporting the management of a global IP portfolio
  • Negotiating and advising on technology, SaaS and cloud services agreements
  • Providing guidance on AI, licensing and technology-related legal issues
  • Supporting legal technology, AI adoption and innovation projects
  • Working closely with senior stakeholders across legal, technology, procurement and commercial teams

About you:

  • 5+ PQE lawyer
  • Strong experience in IP and technology contracts
  • Excellent commercial judgement and stakeholder management skills
  • An interest in innovation, AI and legal technology
