A leading international organisation is seeking an experienced
Investigations & Forensic Manager to join its Ethics, Compliance and Integrity function for an initial 6-month contract.
This is a senior-level opportunity for a highly skilled investigator to lead complex investigations involving allegations of fraud, misconduct, ethical breaches and other serious business integrity concerns across a global business.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders, legal teams and compliance professionals, driving high-quality investigations whilst helping to strengthen the organisation's overall ethics and compliance framework.
Previous similar experience in conducting end to end investigations and forensic accounting is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex internal investigations relating to whistleblowing concerns, fraud, misconduct and potential breaches of company policies and applicable laws.
- Conduct fact-finding interviews with reporters, witnesses and subjects of investigations.
- Collect, preserve and review documentary, financial and digital evidence, ensuring robust evidential standards and chain of custody.
- Manage confidential whistleblower relationships, including anonymous reporters.
- Analyse complex information and multiple data sources to assess allegations and determine findings.
- Produce clear, concise and evidence-based investigation reports for senior management and legal stakeholders.
- Support disciplinary, regulatory and legal proceedings where required.
- Identify root causes and recommend remediation actions to strengthen controls and prevent future issues.
- Oversee e Discovery reviews and investigative technology platforms.
- Advise and support business investigators on best practice investigative methodologies.
- Manage multiple investigations simultaneously across different jurisdictions.
- Contribute to wider ethics, integrity and compliance initiatives and projects.
- Candidate Requirements
- Significant experience gained within corporate investigations, forensic accounting, consulting, law enforcement, government or military environments.
- Proven experience investigating serious misconduct, fraud, corruption, ethics or business integrity matters.
- Qualified ACA, Forensic Accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or equivalent professional qualification highly advantageous
