A top international law firm are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel (6+ PQE) to join their in‑house legal team on a 9 to 12 month fixed‑term contract.
Reporting into Managing Legal Counsel, the successful candidate will support the wider In‑House Counsel and Corporate Governance function, with a particular focus on the firm’s corporate administration services business.
- Advising senior management on corporate, governance, regulatory and operational matters
- Supporting both business‑as‑usual work and specific projects
- Advising on group structure and intragroup legal arrangements
- Reviewing third‑party supplier contracts from a legal and commercial risk perspective
- Advising on data protection matters in collaboration with specialist colleagues
- Supporting regulatory frameworks and internal governance processes
- Contributing to process improvements and more efficient ways of working within the legal team
Prior in‑house experience, ideally within professional services, financial services or a fiduciary environment. Exposure to AML frameworks, regulatory environments or data protection would be beneficial but is not essential.
