An established and highly regarded Commercial team in the Thames Valley is seeking an NQ–3 PQE lawyer to join their busy and growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-quality matters across the private, public and third sectors, with exposure to a wide range of clients including local authorities, education providers, leisure organisations and healthcare bodies.

The team is recognised for excellence in commercial work and handles a diverse portfolio including commercial trading agreements, IT and outsourcing contracts, franchising, IP matters, manufacturing arrangements and data protection. From day one, you will gain hands-on experience, direct client contact, and opportunities to develop into a trusted adviser.

The Role:

  • Drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts.
  • Supporting clients through commercial challenges and acting as an extension of their in-house teams.
  • Conducting legal research, due diligence, and contributing to strategic solutions.
  • Building strong client relationships and contributing to the wider commercial offering.

Hybrid working is standard, typically with 2–3 days per week in the office depending on business needs. As part of a wider regional team, you may also have the opportunity to work across both Reading and Oxford offices and benefit from excellent support, technology and resources.
