The Client: We are working with a fast-growing, innovative organisation in the payments space to appoint a 5-10PQE Commercial Lawyer to support its expanding UK and international operations. This is an opportunity to join a high growth, driven business operating at the forefront of digital payments, where legal plays a key role in enabling commercial strategy. The role You will sit closely with the business, advising on a broad range of commercial and payments related matters, including: Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements (supplier, customer, and partnership contracts) Advising on payments products and services, including merchant acquiring, PSP arrangements, and fintech partnerships Supporting on strategic commercial initiatives and new product launches Collaborating with stakeholders across product, sales, and operations What we’re looking for Qualified lawyer in England and Wales, Europe or common law jurisdictions Strong experience in commercial contracts from private practice or in-house Exposure to payments, fintech, or financial services (highly desirable) Understanding of regulatory frameworks impacting payments Commercial, pragmatic mindset with the ability to work closely with non legal stakeholders *Candidates outside of this PQE range with the prerequisite experience would be considered for this role.
