Our client, a well-established UK law firm with a growing national platform, is looking to hire a Restructuring lawyer to join its London team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious lawyer to work with a newly joined Partner as they continue to develop their practice.
The role involves working closely with senior lawyers on a broad range of complex, fast-moving restructuring and special situations mandates. The practice advises a wide spectrum of stakeholders, including corporates, lenders, investors and sponsors, and offers a high level of responsibility from an early stage.
Key areas of work include:
- Debt restructurings and lender negotiations
- Liquidity and working capital solutions
- Liability management exercises
- Covenant and security analysis
- Alternative funding arrangements (e.g. asset-based lending, mezzanine and PIK debt)
- Distressed and opportunistic investments, acquisitions and secondary debt trading
The role provides exposure to both transactional and advisory matters, working alongside colleagues across corporate, finance and related disciplines.
Candidate profile:

- Are a qualified solicitor with between 2–6 years’ PQE
- Have experience in restructuring, insolvency, banking & finance or a related transactional practice
