A leading UK law firm is searching for a Compliance Team lead to join their risk and compliance function. This role sits within the risk and compliance team and offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced compliance professional to step into a managerial position.
You will oversee routine risk and compliance queries, supervise junior team members, and act as a trusted advisor on complex issues such as conflicts, AML/CDD, SRA compliance, and data protection.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in law firm compliance, a solid understanding of SRA regulations, AML requirements, and GDPR, as well as proven communication and organisational skills. Previous supervisory experience is desirable, though training will be provided.
This role can be based in various offices around the UK, including Birmingham, Exeter, Leeds, Manchester and Winchester.
