A leading international law firm in London is looking to hire a talented Intellectual Property Associate (3β6 PQE) to join its established and growing IP practice. The team advises on a broad spectrum of contentious and non-contentious IP matters, with particular strength in the technology, life sciences, and digital sectors. This is a chance to work closely with a well-known partner in the space, in a role that blends cutting-edge advisory work with strategic IP litigation and transactional support.
The role:
- Advise high-profile clients on patent, trade mark, copyright, and design right matters
- Get involved in complex cross-border IP disputes, often involving parallel actions in multiple jurisdictions
- Support high-value transactions with IP due diligence and risk analysis
- Collaborate with colleagues across TMT, antitrust, corporate, and regulatory teams
- Work on IP strategy for fast-growth and multinational clients navigating digital transformation
Key experience required:
- 3β6 yearsβ PQE in intellectual property, ideally with exposure to both contentious and transactional work
- Experience with tech and/or life sciences clients is highly regarded
- Strong technical background and confidence handling complex issues under pressure
