The Role
The Insurance & Reinsurance Group is expanding and seeks an associate to handle a diverse range of complex insurance matters, including professional indemnity, cyber risks, financial lines, and reinsurance. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on high-profile, international disputes, collaborating with leading insurers, brokers, and a top-tier group of partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising on a wide variety of insurance-related issues, including professional indemnity, D&O, W&I, and marine insurance.
- Managing complex policy coverage matters and providing strategic, commercial advice.
- Drafting and reviewing binding authority agreements, service agreements, and other legal documents.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships while contributing to the firm’s business development efforts.
What We’re Looking For
The firm is looking for an ambitious lawyer with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in dispute resolution, litigation/arbitration, and insurance, with experience advising London market or international insurers. Strong drafting, case management, and interpersonal skills are essential.
