Leading professional services organisation seeks to join their highly skilled in-house legal team in London. An opportunity to join a supportive and dynamic team, in a varied role supporting all levels of the organisation across service lines and the full range of internal business functions. It will be to engage on both the client and supplier side, providing commercial and facilitative advice with the opportunity to be the legal lead on firm-wide projects, working closely with the business. Offering interesting and broad spread of project work (software development, systems integration, business transformation) and client contracts (engagement agreements, MSAs, GFAs), including tech, software, licensing, outsourcing, government and public sector agreements, tenders, RFP responses, supplier agreements and AI.
Responsibilities:
- Engage on both client and supplier sides, providing commercial and facilitative advice and opportunities to be the legal lead on firm-wide projects, working closely with the business.
- Support all levels of the organisation across service lines and the full range of internal business functions.
- Handle a broad mix of project work including software development, systems integration and business transformation, and manage client contracts such as engagement agreements, MSAs, GFAs, including tech, software, licensing, outsourcing, government and public sector agreements, tenders and RFP responses, supplier agreements and AI.
Qualifications:
- Over 8 years' PQE and proven experience as a commercial lawyer from a top tier City law firm and/or in-house.
- Demonstrable experience negotiating, drafting and advising across a range of commercial contracts, preferably within a professional services environment or similar.
- Versatile, efficient, credible, persuasive, with the ability to prioritise and adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment.
