A well-established London law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Knowledge Lawyer to join its private wealth practice. The position would suit either an existing Professional Support Lawyer or a senior private client fee-earner looking to pivot away from fee-earning.

The role sits within a respected Private Client & Tax practice advising high-net-worth individuals, families, trustees and family offices including clients with complex international interests. There is a strong cross-border element to the work with particular involvement in the US and the Middle East.

The Role

  • Acting as a technical and knowledge resource for private client fee-earners
  • Maintaining and developing precedents, practice notes and internal guidance
  • Monitoring and communicating legal developments in private client and tax
  • Supporting and delivering internal training
  • Helping produce client-facing updates and thought leadership
  • Working closely with partners on complex or novel technical issues

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified private client lawyer (England & Wales or equivalent)
  • Typically 5-8+ PQE
  • Strong technical grounding in private client work
  • Clear communicator with strong drafting skills
  • Interest in training, technical development and legal innovation
