Corporate Solicitor – Leading US Law Firm – London (2-5 PQE)
Taylor Root are working in partnership with a leading US law firm who are looking to hire an Associate into their Corporate Practice in London. This role will include work on larger scale technology transactions and venture capital investments. You will ideally have 2-5 PQE from a magic/silver circle or US law firm.
For corporate tech transactions and venture capital, our client has been a market leader since its inception. The firm advises on deals ranging from partnerships with multinational tech giants such as Google and Apple to investments in innovative start-ups, entrepreneurs, and investors. With proven capabilities and an exceptional track record, this law firm is widely regarded as one of the best in the sector.
Responsibilities- Founder Representation: Working closely with early-stage startups from seed through to exit. You’d manage issues lists, have boardroom access, and build strong relationships with founders, companies raising £3m to exiting for £300m+. You will be staffed with the same founder throughout where possible but as you approach Senior Associate level depending on your preference you may be moved to an M&A or an IPO.
- US Collaboration: You’d also work on larger tech transactions alongside the US team. Their track record includes M&A and IPOs for companies like Netflix, Apple, Google, and LinkedIn.
Ideally, you will have prior experience in venture capital as part of your corporate background. However, candidates from a generalist corporate practice will also be considered, provided they have a strong foundation in private M&A or technology transactions.
