Responsibilities and ideal candidate:

  • Senior hire to provide oversight across AML, onboarding and conflicts.
  • Effectively the “number two” to the Head of, someone who can liaise with fee‑earners confidently.
  • Lead on AML and broader client due diligence – AML expertise is the priority.
  • Oversight of conflicts (with the ability to step in and complete checks when needed).
  • Full understanding of the end‑to‑end onboarding process.
  • Manage and support workload currently handled by one other staff member.
  • Potential future responsibility to help train or supervise a junior hire as volumes continue to grow.

Environment & Culture:

  • Boutique, not corporate – family feel, smaller firm, different model to other mainstream law firms.
  • Suits someone autonomous, self‑sufficient, and comfortable working independently.
  • 3 days per week (Tuesday – Thursday).
