The Role
The firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate (6+ PQE) to join the firm's highly regarded Litigation team on a 12-15 month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high-value disputes within a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters, including contractual disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes, and civil fraud claims.
- Advise clients on strategy and risk management in contentious situations.
- Draft pleadings, witness statements, and other key litigation documents to a high standard.
- Represent clients in court proceedings and arbitration, ensuring effective advocacy and negotiation.
- Work closely with partners and senior stakeholders to deliver pragmatic, commercially focused solutions.
Skills & Experience Required
- Qualified solicitor with 6+ years PQE in litigation and dispute resolution with experience gained at a Top 100 or US law firm.
- Strong technical expertise in commercial litigation, including experience with high-value and complex disputes.
- Familiarity with shareholder disputes, insolvency-related claims, and fraud matters.
- Experience acting for ultra-high net worth clients would be a distinct advantage, but is not essential.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage cases independently and maintain strong client relationships.
