Key responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Conflicts team
- Oversee workflows, resource allocation and service delivery levels
- Manage, coach and develop a team of Team Leaders, Senior Analysts and Analysts
- Handle complex conflict checks and escalations
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the firm
- Monitor performance, set targets and drive continuous improvement
- Support training programmes and enhance team knowledge
- Review and improve processes, systems and controls
- Contribute to wider Risk team initiatives and projects
About you:
- Proven conflicts experience within a law firm (essential)
- Strong technical knowledge of conflicts and SRA regulations
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise under pressure
- Commercial awareness and strong stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with high attention to detail
