Our client, an elite US City law firm is seeking an experienced Funds Lawyer to join the team on a 3‑month fixed term contract to cover parental leave. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a high‑performing, high‑calibre funds practice within one of the most prestigious international law firms.
The successful individual will work closely with the firm’s market‑leading funds team, taking on a broad range of responsibilities connected to the structuring, formation, fundraising and ongoing operation of investment vehicles. The role will involve advising on:
- Investment funds (open and closed‑end) across asset classes including credit, private equity, infrastructure, real estate, and venture capital
- Co‑investment structures and segregated mandates
- Managing a substantial portfolio of ongoing fund relationships
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer (England & Wales or equivalent common law jurisdiction)
- Strong funds experience gained at a top-tier international, US or elite City firm
- Ability to work autonomously
- Availability to start immediately or at short notice
