Our client, a prestigious international City law firm is seeking a Corporate Lending Solicitor to join ASAP on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated cross‑border finance matters within a market‑leading banking team.
The Role: You will advise lenders and borrowers on a broad range of corporate lending transactions, including:
- Investment‑grade syndicated loans
- Secured domestic and international term and revolving facilities
- Acquisition financings (including public‑to‑privates)
- Cashflow‑based lending structures
Clients span major UK/international banks, private debt funds, insurers, listed corporates, and sector‑specific borrowers.
About You:
- Qualified Solicitor with upwards of 4+ years’ post‑qualification relevant experience gained in an international law firm, focused on corporate lending
- Experience running finance transactions, including club and syndicated deals
- Strong understanding of LMA‑style documentation, including facility agreements and intercreditor agreements
- Sound knowledge of cashflow‑based financial covenants
- Advanced technical legal skills relevant to transactional banking: UK company law, and English contract, insolvency and security law
