We are partnering exclusively with a fast-growing engineering and technology business to appoint their Head of Legal. This is a career-defining opportunity to shape the legal and commercial strategy of a mission‑led organisation making a real impact in the world.
We are looking for someone who is a high potential senior legal counsel or established Head of Legal (could be 6‑10 years+ PQE) with solid in‑house experience. The ideal candidate would have some exposure to the defence or emergency response sector, but this is not essential. Experience in startup/scale‑up environments where there is real pace and ambiguity is of real interest, as is a broad commercial exposure within a high growth business, including:
- commercial contracts
- fundraising
- IP
- strategy
- senior management advice
You must have an innate commercial approach and be highly confident working closely with senior leadership. You will also get to manage a junior legal counsel and shape the direction of the legal strategy and future.
Please note this role is 3 days per week in Bristol office (commutable from London, Bristol, or wider UK) which is essential. The role will report directly into the business and interviews are commencing imminently.
