A global law firm is seeking ambitious Associates (0-2 PQE) to join its growing Commercial Development & Investment team in Birmingham. This is an opportunity to work on high‑value, high‑profile development and investment projects across a wide range of commercial sectors.
About the Team
The firm is home to one of the UK’s largest and most respected real estate practices, with more than 300 commercially minded lawyers supporting some of the sector’s most successful developers, investors and corporate occupiers. The team leads on major, strategically significant projects across logistics, industrial estates, retail and business parks, corporate developments, offices and data centres. Clients include many leading names across the development, property, institutional investment and private equity sectors.
The Role
You will work closely with partners and senior lawyers on a broad range of commercial property matters, including:
- Acquisition and disposal of land and significant investment assets
- Structuring development deals and negotiating heads of terms
- Pre‑lettings, lettings and sale‑and‑leaseback transactions
- Real estate support on financing arrangements, including Certificates of Title
- Drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial property documents
- Title investigation, searches, enquiries and project management
- Liaising with clients, agents and other professionals
You will gain exposure to high‑profile clients and complex matters, developing deep technical expertise and strong client relationships.
