You will join a growing Education team that advises schools, academies, further education institutions and universities on a wide range of regulatory, governance and operational matters. The work is varied and intellectually stimulating, spanning issues such as statutory policy development, equality law compliance, academy trust regulation, admissions disputes, exclusions, data protection and governance. The role also includes involvement in academy transactions, procurement advice, and education‑based litigation including Judicial Reviews, SEND Tribunal and other sector litigation. You will gain significant client contact and responsibility within a highly supportive team environment.

  • Qualified solicitor, ideally NQ to 3 years’ PQE
  • Demonstrable experience in education law or a related practice area
  • Strong technical knowledge, with ability to manage a busy caseload and deliver pragmatic commercial advice

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently
  • Flexible, proactive and committed to business development and client engagement
