Taylor Reeves Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting several HGV Class 1 Drivers for a new contract based in Dartford, Kent. Starting on the 5th May 2026.
Job Description
- Temporary to permanent opportunities
- Night trunks, start times from 18:00 onwards
- Must hold a C+E Licence for a minimum of 12 months with minor endorsement points
- Box trailer, cages
- Low cab Mercedes Actros with Mirror cam
- Planned, timed routes. Communication is key for this role
- Daily vehicle walk round checks, reporting defects and RTI's
- Adhere to all health and safety standards throughout all aspects of driving
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding schedules, delays etc.
The Role
- 10 weeks temp to perm
- Minimum 10 hours per day. 45 minute break deduction (unpaid)
- Overtime available
- General Haulage
- Pay from £22 per hour
