Our Client is a successful Grower of Fruit, supplying the retail sector with an impressive quality of product. We now offer the opportunity to become a fundamental member of the business working as Production Manager to assist with the effective management of the busy packhouse.

The Production Manager will be responsible for running the production on the floor of a very busy seasonal fruit packhouse, packing product to meet the needs of retail supermarket customer specifications. You will join the management team and work alongside the Packhouse, Requisites & Logistics Manager to run the packhouse.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the production runs & flows to ensure smooth operation of the lines.
  • Meeting production plans by managing line packers productivity.
  • Planning the production runs for the day and communicating these with the line leaders.
  • Providing accurate yield information on packout and grade out.

We require:

  • Fresh Produce / Fresh Food sector experienced production individual.
  • Confident ability within a Fresh Food / Fresh Produce packing facility.
  • Personable, encouraging, and hands-on management approach and experience.
  • Knowledge of expectations and standards required in the supply of fresh product to retail customers.

The position of Production Manager is a key role within the company and the successful individual will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate the team with exceptional work standards.
