A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a small, friendly and highly respected construction team working on commercial projects for well-known prestigious national brands. This is the perfect next step for someone who wants to develop their career in a business where every individual genuinely matters.
You’ll be joining a close-knit group of like-minded people who have built an enviable reputation in their sector through quality, reliability and longstanding client relationships. The culture is collaborative, down-to-earth and sociable with regular team events and even an office dog who’s part of the daily routine! When you’re not on site, you’ll be based in their modern, welcoming head office (situated not far from junction 12/13 of the M5).
You’ll report directly into a Commercial Director who leads from the front: driven, hands-on, approachable and always willing to support his team. There’s no hierarchy for hierarchy’s sake here, everyone rolls up their sleeves and works together.
What you’ll be doing...
- Managing the commercial and contractual aspects of projects from start to finish
- Preparing cost plans, subcontract packages and final accounts
- Overseeing procurement, applications, invoicing and supply chain payments
- Ensuring accurate contract accounting and healthy project cashflow
- Building strong relationships with clients and subcontractors
