The Role
This is an initial 3-month fixed-term (PAYE) contract, with the potential to extend or develop into a staff position.
As our Producer/Director, you’ll work across both film and animation projects, from client brief through to final delivery.
You should have strong editorial instincts and be able to get under the skin of a brief, find the strongest narrative, shape scripts, work confidently with clients and contributors, direct shoots and help bring projects together in the edit.
You’ll need to be highly organised and able to work calmly and confidently across multiple fast-moving projects, with excellent attention to detail and consistently high creative standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Help develop creative ideas, scripts and storyboards that bring client briefs to life.
- Work across both film and animation projects
- Direct shoots, manage contributors and lead interviews and voiceover sessions.
- Build strong working relationships with our clients
- Oversee projects through post-production, reviewing edits and animation, sourcing assets and helping shape the final film.
- Be highly organised and able to juggle multiple fast-moving projects, prioritise effectively and make sure nothing gets missed.
- What We’re Looking For
- Strong storytelling, interviewing and scriptwriting skills.
- Confident directing shoots and working with clients on set.
- Excellent communication, presentation and client relationship skills.
- Ideally, some experience working across both film and animation.
