Taylor Lane Timber Frame is looking for a Trainee Timber Frame Designer to work within its engineered timber department. The successful candidate will design roof trusses and floor joists for timber frame structures using bespoke 3D CAD and engineering software. Full training will be provided.
Are you a student coming to the end of your studies and are not planning on Higher Education? Are you seeking an interesting and challenging position? Do you have good mathematical skills (preferable)? Do you have an interest in design and technology? Then we would like to hear from you!
The Future:
- We would put the successful individual through an ONC in Building Studies and the Built Environment, and encourage them to progress to HNC, if they wished.
- The starting salary would increase significantly with progression, and once fully competent they could expect to command between £35-40k.
- They would have 21 days paid holidays per year, plus the bank holidays.
- We also run a pension scheme, plus various other company benefits.
The role is based at our Head Office on Rotherwas Industrial Estate, Hereford.
