Taylor Lane is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join its production team. We have several timber frame factory operative vacancies available on our PM Shift (Monday – Wednesday: 15.00 – 01.30 andThursday: 15.00 – 00.30)

Whilst experience would be an advantage, full training will be provided so it is not essential.

The roles are based at one of our factories on the Rotherwas Industrial Estate, Hereford.

Responsibilities

  • Involved in the cutting and assembly of timber frame components and engineering products
  • Operate saws and machinery (full training provided) and handling of tools such as pneumatic nail guns and staplers
  • Read design drawings, Setting out and assembly of external and internal wall panels and partitions including the assembly of floor cassettes
  • Follow manufacture drawings for the fabrication of engineered products such as roof trusses and floor joists
  • Follow strict health and safety procedures whilst operating machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Follow production schedules and complete tasks within specified deadlines
  • Inspect finished products for quality assurance
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area

Desired Skills

  • General woodwork, nail-gun, and sawyer experience would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be given
