Job Description

We are looking for a Transport Coordinator / Operations Administrator to work for a global business. The role is office based role in Trafford Park area

The company operate 27/7 over a 9 week shift pattern. Averages a 40 hr week, due to some shifts having early starts and others with Late night finishes ideally you'd need to be able to drive. Some weeks you only work three shifts and others four and five shifts of the week.

Salary: Up to £35,000 with excellent benefts including bonus, pension and private medical

We are looking for a detail-oriented Transport Coordinator to support our Transport Schedulers and VMI Analysts with key operational tasks.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Scheduling Support: Conduct daily potting checks to prevent overweight vehicles, monitor truck utilisation to improve load sizes, and ensure all shifts are covered by bringing forward deliveries.

* Night Shift Duties: Potting up VMI orders, filing, shredding, updating delivered-by-terminal records, and completing correction reports for SAHQ.

* Reporting & Compliance: Ensure correct procedures are followed for left-on-boards, billing blocks, corrections, and ad-hoc reporting.

* Customer & Performance: Handle calls professionally, follow call procedures, provide feedback, and attend at least one tanker delivery per year.

Previous call centre experience ideal, preferably within the transport sector.

Other Requirements:

Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, Professional standard to taking and making voice calls under all conditions.
