Our client is a Global Oil producer and refiner, they are looking for a Terminal Manager to work at their East Midlands, Kingsbury Terminal.

The day to day running of the Terminal involves bulk storage and distribution of refined petroleum products. The successful candidate will be responsible for controlling an operating expense of £2.1 million and Capital Expenditure of £750,000 on average.

The role oversees the consistency, availability and quality of refined products being stored at the facility to ensure that we fulfil the requirements of our customers, whilst also ensuring compliance with both internal and external HES and maintenance regulatory and company standards.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong commercial and industry knowledge who is able to demonstrate sound decision making, leadership and people management.

They will need to develop strong relationships and work cross functionally with internal departments and external agencies to ensure the safe, efficient running of the operation.

Competencies / Skills/ Education:

  • NVQ/ACF Bulk Liquid Warehousing - preferred
  • Significant experience of a Terminal/Refinery environment - required
  • Strong people management skills
  • Communication skills
  • Commercial acumen
  • Excellent skills across all Microsoft packages
  • Safety qualification preferred.
  • Degree preferred
